My name is Gaby. I live in beautiful, sunny San Diego, California. Celiac disease runs in my family and I was diagnosed in 2013. While living gluten free in SD is relatively easy I’ve also lived in states where it was a real struggle. I was born and raised in Ohio and after I was diagnosed I would have to drive to the bigger cities for access to a wider variety of gluten free products. I’m extremely sensitive to the slightest bit of cross contamination, which initially led me to believe that I’d never be comfortable enough to experience the joys of traveling. I was convinced I would have to miss out on the restaurants and night life places around the world had to offer and it would just be easier for me to stay home. after all, how can you travel if you can’t eat? I’ve learned this isn’t true! We can have the best of both worlds. So lets travel and eat some yummy gluten free food along the way!
